Role Overview
As the Welcome U - Institutional Affairs Intern, you will support the coordination and enhancement of the organization's external relationships with government agencies, educational institutions, industry partners, and community organizations. You will assist as a point of contact, helping to ensure clear, consistent communication and building trust with these groups. Your work will directly contribute to the integration and alignment of institutional policies and frameworks with our corporate goals, providing you with valuable hands-on experience in institutional relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of strong, productive relationships with institutional stakeholders, including government bodies, academic institutions, and non-profit organizations.
- Assist in coordinating outreach programs and initiatives that align with organizational objectives and promote mutual collaboration.
- Attend and assist at meetings, conferences, and public events, helping to represent the organization and effectively communicate its values and strategic priorities.
- Help monitor changes in public policy and institutional landscapes, contributing to timely reports and summaries for the team.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of proposals, reports, and communications targeted at institutional audiences.
- Collaborate with internal departments to help ensure coherent and consistent messaging in all institutional interactions.
- Provide administrative and research support to internal teams, helping gather insights on institutional affairs and potential partnership opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
