Be Part of Something Big: Join Our Commercial Integration Team!

Step into a role where you’ll drive meaningful change by optimizing Moeve’s Biofuels value chain and fostering collaboration across key areas. As part of the Commercial Integration team, you’ll act as the strategic link between feedstock and biofuels sourcing, production, logistics, trading and compliance, enabling agile, data-driven decisions that maximize the value of Moeve’s renewable molecules. This is your opportunity to work with a diverse group of colleagues, solve challenges collaboratively, and create tangible value in an environment where your ideas and contributions truly matter.

About the Business

We are driving a transformative strategy agenda called “Positive Motion”, focused on greening our revenue sources and fostering sustainable growth. Biofuels are at the heart of this transition, and our Value Architect for the Bios Value Chain is pivotal in maximizing the total value generated across Moeve’s renewable molecules activities, from feedstock to final customer.

We are seeking exceptional talent to join our Commercial Integration Team, reporting to the Portfolio Integration Leader within the Trading organization. In this role, you will identify, define, operate, and scale strategies and processes to maximize end-to-end (E2E) value creation across the Biofuels value chain. This involves serving markets and customers while ensuring alignment with feedstock availability, production, supply, and logistics capacities and constraints, as well as sustainability and regulatory requirements, all with an unwavering commitment to integrity and safety.

You will work closely with the Biofuels Trading desk, Commercial Units, Refineries, Supply & Logistics, and Local Compliance Teams, as well as with partners such as CBSR, Moeve’s joint venture for our HVO and HEFA plant with Apical, to unlock structural flows and capture new opportunities across Spain and International Markets

The Responsibilities We´ll Trust You With

·        Define and coordinate optimal decisions based on E2E analysis including make vs. buy, import-export, co-process vs. blend; feedstock selection and product slate FAME, HVO, SAF, ETHANOL and other advanced molecules).

·        Provide guidance and price signals to enable and support Trading Optimization (feedstock and product spreads, premiums, GHG).

  • Provide risk management solutions to protect E2E margin
  • Understand the impact of sustainability and compliance frameworks (RED III, ReFuel, FuelEU, ISCC) on feedstocks/biofuels eligibility, product pathways, country mandates, and overall value capture.
  • Coordinate interactions and collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization, including Trading, Commercial Units, Refineries, Origination, Operations, and joint-venture partners.
  • Ensure the availability of accurate data and timely development of plans to support decision-making including monitoring plan execution and flexibility to reassess optimization when necessary.
  • Facilitate E2E optimization by solving bottlenecks, enhancing cross-BU collaboration, reviewing compliance road maps, and ensuring the right allocation of necessary resources

What Are We Looking For?

  • Over 10 years of experience in the energy industry, with expertise in Refining, Supply and Trading, ideally with a focus on Supply Optimization and exposure to Biofuels and feedstocks markets.
  • A degree in a technical field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or an economic/commercial discipline (e.g., Business, Logistics, Economics). Advanced degrees, such as a Master’s in Refining or an MBA, are highly valued.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the E2E Biofuels value chain, including feedstock sourcing, biofuels production, S&D, refining planning and operations, logistics, fundamental trading concepts (e.g., risk management, pricing, optionality), and commercial strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of sustainability and compliance frameworks (RED III, ReFuel, FuelEU, ISCC) including implementation and optimization across Spain and Portugal.
  • Understanding financial and risk exposure principles to support impact calculations and business case validation.

Skills Required

  • Agility and a strong focus on time-to-market execution.
  • Real-time monitoring of outcomes and consequences to drive decision-making.
  • Advanced analytical skills for evaluating results and identifying opportunities, including proficiency with LP and optimization tools including data analytics.
  • Strong organizational capacity to manage complex processes and coordinate efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, foster alignment, and effectively coordinate teams.
  • A forward-thinking, innovative mindset to continuously improve processes and deliver value.
