Job Description: 

Join Moeve's Pricing team as a Pricing Operations Professional and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our pricing strategies across multiple business units and channels. This position places you at the heart of our commercial operations, where your expertise will ensure that pricing policies, discount structures, and delegation authorities are consistently applied with accuracy and timeliness.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of pricing data, guaranteeing operational excellence, and supporting both commercial and business teams with transparent and traceable decision processes. Your contributions will drive strategic alignment within a fast-paced multinational environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and uphold standardized procedures for creating, updating, and closing price lists and contracts, ensuring all activities comply with established pricing policies and coordination with the Finance team.
  • Manage the accurate and timely input of current price lists, tariffs, and commercial terms into essential platforms such as SAP, Pricefx, and associated Business Intelligence tools.
  • Lead and execute rigorous quality control initiatives over pricing data, including validity periods, product alignment, tax considerations, and minimum margin compliance, addressing discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee the pricing Delegation of Authority (DOA) process, directing exception requests through the appropriate approval hierarchies based on risk assessment and margin targets.
  • Maintain comprehensive traceability of all approved exceptions, analyze usage trends, and recommend periodic policy updates to enhance pricing governance.
  • Serve as the operational product owner for pricing platforms like Pricefx, working in close partnership with IT and Digital Services Infrastructure (DSI) teams to facilitate system updates, resolve incidents, conduct regression testing, and manage smooth deployments.
  • Ensure correct configuration of products, customer profiles, sales channels, and business rules within pricing systems to streamline operations and uphold integrity.
  • Design and deliver foundational and advanced training programs on pricing tools, tariff structures, DOA protocols, and data entry best practices for commercial and back-office teams to strengthen organizational capabilities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Pricing Operations team by setting clear service objectives and monitoring performance metrics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

 

Candidate Profile

We seek a proactive and meticulous professional equipped with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Education: A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field that provides a solid foundation in commercial and financial principles.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of three years in pricing, revenue management, commercial controlling, or operational roles within commercial functions. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years leading operational or back-office commercial teams, especially within multinational or multi-business settings.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Hands-on experience with pricing platforms such as Pricefx and ERP systems like SAP, alongside CRM software, including Salesforce, with strong data management capabilities.
    • Deep understanding of pricing strategies, discount mechanisms, tariff design, and profit margin management.
    • Insight into cost analysis, tax regulations, logistics tariffs, and cost structures tailored to product lines and sales channels.
    • Familiarity with commercial processes such as contracting, invoicing, rebates, and discounts along with their operational implications.
    • Capability to design and implement robust operational processes with stringent quality checks.
    • Proficiency with business intelligence tools and pricing suites like Vendavo and Pros is highly valued.
  • Additional Competencies: Demonstrated experience in process automation and optimization projects utilizing technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflows, and macros to increase efficiency and accuracy.
