What will your role be?

As a fundamental part of our team, your main mission will be to ensure the comprehensive monitoring—at an operational, financial, and strategic level—of the joint ventures corresponding to the Biofuels unit. You will play a key role in providing continuous visibility on the status of the business.

Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying potential deviations early and providing indispensable support in decision-making, all through detailed analysis and excellent coordination with different stakeholders to ensure the success of the strategy.

Some of your main functions will be:

  • Monitor the execution of the JVs' business plans, identifying risks or opportunities and coordinating planning to ensure consistency with the Group.

  • Supervise financial performance through the review of reports, the analysis of KPIs and deviations against the budget, preparing monitoring reports.

  • Manage and update commercial and service contracts with the Group, working in collaboration with key areas such as legal, commercial, finance, and trading.

  • Develop benchmark analysis (both internal and external) to evaluate competitiveness and detect leverage points for efficiency improvement in the JVs.

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize business development and growth opportunities (organic and inorganic), supporting the preparation of different business cases.

  • Evolve corporate governance and the operating model, managing governance forums, ensuring the traceability of meetings, and compliance with shareholder agreements.

  • Coordinate and actively participate in working groups with partners to drive key initiatives, resolve incidents, and explore new joint opportunities.

  • Foster cross-functional coordination with the rest of the internal areas and effectively centralize all JV information in an updated document repository.

Who are we looking for?

  • Education: University degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, or Engineering.

  • Experience: At least 6 years of solid experience in strategy, consulting, management control, or project management areas.

  • Very high level of Spanish and English.

  • Excellent financial analysis, cross-functional project management, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Ability to synthesize for executive reporting, as well as a highly autonomous and proactive profile.

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have postgraduate studies specialized in Corporate Finance or Project Management, and bring valuable previous experience in the energy, biofuels, or industrial sector.
