Job Description
Job Title:  Feedstock Sustainability & Regulation Lead
Posting Start Date:  6/16/26
Job Description:

Are you passionate about the challenge of the energy transition?
At Moeve, we are transforming energy and mobility to improve the world together, and we need all the talent to make it a reality. This is your opportunity!

What will your role be?

You will lead technical and regulatory engagement at the national, European, and international levels regarding raw materials suitable for the production of renewable fuels and sustainable products. Your fundamental mission will be to ensure compliance with the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and associated legislation, comprehensively managing raw material certifications and ensuring the integrity of the entire supply chain.

In addition to your regulatory activities, you will contribute your technical vision to the development of new business models based on waste and intermediate crops, by-products, and low-carbon footprint materials, actively contributing to building a coherent and high-impact corporate positioning for the company.

Actions with an institutional representation dimension (before administrations, sector associations, industry forums, or specialized media) must be carried out under the coordination and responsibility of the Corporate Affairs Department (which establishes the strategic framework, defines corporate messages, and determines external representation spaces). You will be part of the company's network of institutional representatives and will actively contribute to building a coherent and impactful corporate positioning, ensuring that the strongest arguments reach the spaces where they can generate the most value.

Why is this the perfect role for you?

  • Analyze and monitor the national and international regulatory evolution on raw materials from waste and intermediate crops, representing the company in associations and technical groups.

  • Lead and manage audits, renewals, and verifications under recognized sustainability schemes, such as ISCC and RSB.

  • Ensure the end-to-end traceability of supply chains based on waste (UCO, agricultural, industrial) and intermediate crops, evaluating all documentation that demonstrates their origin and status.

  • Manage and operate European platforms and country-specific databases (Nabisy, Carbure) for the registration and traceability of raw materials from waste and intermediate crops.

  • Analyze the regulatory and certification feasibility for new supply chains, providing support to R&D projects for advanced renewable fuels and biomethane.

  • Advise strategically on contract drafting, supplier evaluations, and due diligence, ensuring compliance with corporate sustainability clauses.

  • Develop internal procedures and train different teams on mandatory certification and traceability requirements.

Who we are looking for

  • Education: University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of sustainable certification, biofuels, the circular economy, or waste management.

  • Demonstrable mastery of certification schemes (ISCC, RSB), handling of traceability platforms (Nabisy, Carbure, Traces), and solid experience with residual raw materials and intermediate crops.

  • Excellent understanding of RED criteria.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Professional level of English.

  • Availability for recurring travel, primarily to Brussels.

It would be ideal if you also have:

  • Experience in "advocacy" or participation in regulatory working groups, as well as postgraduate education or specialization courses in renewable energies and sustainability.

Location: Madrid, Torre Moeve and Brussels.
