We are driving a transformative strategic agenda called “Positive Motion”, aimed at greening our revenue streams and fostering sustainable growth. As part of this vision, we are looking for a highly Trading Digitalization & App Development Specialist to join our IT Trading team in Madrid.

This role will be responsible for leading initiatives to digitalize and automate processes and tasks within the Trading organization.

• Lead and coordinate the internal Trading Development team, managing activities and task distribution to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Analyze and optimize workload distribution and team assignments to identify potential gaps, ensuring the team is fully aligned with methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Supervise external development teams, aligning priorities and deliverables to achieve consistent, high-quality results on time.
• Ensure operational continuity, maintaining robust application support and BAU maintenance capabilities, while allocating resources for new project launches.
• Design and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with Business and BAs, leveraging the most suitable technologies to address business needs and enhance automation and efficiency in Trading.
• Stay ahead of technology trends, assessing new and emerging tools that can create value for the business and advising management on technical solutions that best meet operational needs.

Who are we looking for?

• Education: University degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science or related.

• Experience:

• 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in process analysis or optimization roles.
• Proven experience of 3+ years in the development and implementation of IT solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, modern programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript), and frameworks such as FastAPI, React, NestJS, or .NET Core. Experience with databases, cloud services (AWS), container tools (Kubernetes, Docker), and reporting or automation platforms like Power BI and Power Automate is highly appreciated.
• Familiarity with ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) solutions in the trading domain is highly valued.

• Languages: Fluent in Spanish & English.
