The Commercial Structuring will play an important delivery role in identifying market opportunities, supporting strategic business case development, commercial structuring, complex commercial frameworks, alliance agreements (including M&A, JV, term deals), for biofuels and e‑fuels projects in Asia, ensuring bankable business cases and strategic alignment while delivering projects and offtake agreements in collaboration with Moeve headquarter on global initiatives.

Since we are a small and agile team, the ideal candidate should be comfortable working across a matrix organization, operate effectively in a hybrid work environment, and be well-rounded with an entrepreneurial mindset.

 

The responsibilities we'll trust you with

  • Identify and develop new origination opportunities, low-carbon fuels and hydrogen derivatives, with a focus on Asia's evolving landscape. 
  • To build on existing and new opportunities identified to deliver commercial frameworkds, commercially viable structures including offtake agreements, pricing models, JV/M&A structures, and alliance agreements to enable market entry and growth. Supporting origination portfolio and strategy, negotiations and execution of supply agreements, joint venutres and strategy partnerships. 
  • Develop revenue generation opportunities by contributing to pricing strategies, origination strategy and improving profitability through innovative commercial models. 
  • Build investment-ready business cases using tools like analysis; consolidate inputs from legal, finance, strategy and trading teams. 
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of origination projects with clear milestrones, governance and stakeholder alignment. Implement governance structures, project charters and workstream setups to ensure execution readiness across all project phases. 
  • Opportunity delivery for Asia strategic control points.  Monitor APAC regulatory signals (including hydrogen derivatives) and coordinate with Madrid team to close loops on key projects.  Ensure oversight and alignment for all projects and offtake agreements in the region.
  • Support commercial models and develop value chain mapping across biofuels, feedstocks, hydrogen derivatives in alignment with Moeve’s commercial processes and origination principles.
  • Acts as a primary liaison with key internal and external stakeholders (Asia and Madrid), ensuring alignment and timely execution of deliverables. Orchestrates cross-functional workstreams discussions (Commercial team, legal, trading, finance, strategy, M&A etc.). Design, prepare materials and lead workshops to drive cross- functional (Trading, Biofuels, Hydrogen) alignment on way forward on initiatives to progress with business case execution.
  • Develop and implement governance structures, workstream set up, project charters, commercial structuring, business case rationale, and value chain delivery. Consolidate inputs from SMES and trading team to support decision-making. Prepare materials for engagement to support business case narrative backed by clear data analysis and rationale.
  • Conduct in -depth complex data analysis and market assessment leveraging on existing/new reports, business intelligence, and external insights (regulatory developments, competitor analysis ) to develop business models and pricing views (To seek internal trading desks for guidance) to support strategic decision making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including energy suppliers, buyers, technology providers, regulatory bodies and governmental agencies.
