About the business

We are driving a transformative strategy agenda called “Positive Motion”, focused on greening our revenue sources and fostering sustainable growth. As part of this vision, we are looking for a skilled Book Analyst to join our team.

This role ensures the integrity and optimization of the Renewable Liquid Allegro trading book, acting as a subject matter expert to support operational excellence and risk awareness. The successful candidate will work closely with traders and cross-functional teams to maintain book accuracy, manage exposures, and drive improvements in processes and systems.

 

The Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With

  • Validate trades and positions daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain book integrity through regular checks, reconciliations, and TAS calculations.
  • Monitor exposures, identify emerging risks, and escalate promptly.
  • Run “What-If” queries and maintain logs to support traders in Allegro.
  • Coordinate between Middle Office, Front Office, Back Office, Operations and Finance for seamless operations.
  • Support reporting, documentation, and ad-hoc projects, including IT initiatives like Power BI Allegro monitoring.
  • Drive book structure optimization and integration for operational efficiency.

 

Who are we looking for?

Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

Experience:

  • Experience in trading operations and preferably with Allegro ETRM.
  • Strong understanding of exposure management, derivates and inventory metrics.
  • Familiarity with TAS processes and reconciliation practices.

 

Competencies:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure.
